Nigel joined the team at William S. Foley, P.A. as a law clerk during his third year of law school at Stetson University College of Law. Born in California and raised in Maryland, Nigel became acquainted with the Tampa Bay area in 2012 while completing his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida.
After graduating with a B.A. in English and Criminology, Nigel continued to pursue his ultimate goal of becoming an attorney. While attending Stetson Law, Nigel tailored his legal education to ensure that he would become an efficient litigator. He elected an advocacy-based curriculum, which focused on providing students a high degree of ethics and competence in litigation. While completing this curriculum, he was introduced to the practice of family law. Nigel soon became passionate about the practice of family law. He truly enjoyed helping others and making a difference. Nigel enjoyed family law so much that he decided that he should focus his legal career specifically in the field. He began interning as a law clerk in the family law department of Gulfcoast Legal Services where he was able to assist individuals in need. Shortly thereafter, Nigel was introduced to William S. Foley who gave him an opportunity to learn and expand within the practice of family law. Nigel began working as a law clerk for Mr. Foley during his last year before graduating from Stetson Law.
While a law clerk at William S. Foley, P.A., Nigel began studying for the July 2017 Florida Bar. Nigel passed the Florida Bar, became a licensed attorney, and is now an Associate Attorney at William S. Foley, P.A. He continues to enjoy making a difference in peoples’ lives. Nigel currently lives near downtown Tampa. When taking a break from helping people, you can find him and his dog Johnny Bravo kicking back and soaking in that Tampa Bay sunshine.
